Development Applications (DAs) can either be code or impact assessable and both require a development approval. A code assessable development application is a proposal that is generally anticipated and generally complies with the City Plan and zoning of the area. These applications are not presumed to have an overly significant impact on the surrounding area and do not require public notification under the planning scheme, so they can be assessed relatively quickly. However, it is our belief that engaging with the community remains important to ensure that the local residents are informed of what is occurring in their neighbourhood, and have access to information that explains what is proposed. This in turn provides an opportunity for the community to engage with Mosaic if they wish.

We reduced the original plans from 57 to 42 apartments to a design that was much more sensitive to the local area and in our opinion suited the streetscape well. The original plans ranged in sizes from 56sqm to 102sqm however ours will range from approx. 102sqm to 139sqm.

We are currently expecting construction to begin late August – early September 2018.

Mosaic will be contributing around $280,000 to the Council to help them improve the local community, such as roads, parks and services. Over the past 3 years, we have contributed over $930,000 to the Upper Mt Gravatt area from our last two projects, totalling over $1,200,000 in contributions from Mosaic to improve this great suburb.

This project consists of the following apartments

  • 35 x open plan and large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartments.
  • 7 x deluxe 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartments.
